Default 2004 remote starter is killing my brain

Ok. I have a 2004 GT 5 speed. The remote starter that I bought for it said that it was made for manual transmissions. Now I have it hooked up and it will start the car but my delima that I am running into is the ignition key. If I remove the key, the remote will attempt to start but will not. But if I leave the key in the ingnition and turned off, it will start up like a champ. Is there some way around this and does anyone know how to do it? Please my head is hurting from this thing. Please help.

You need the PATS remote start interface.
Buy the Ford Encrypted PATS Remote Start Interface Module and other Car security installation parts at circuitcity.com
