Default Raplacing door speakers 1994 V6

do i have to pull off the whole pannel or can i just pop off a cover. i haven't looked at it too hard but the passenger door sounds like crap and im looking to replace it. also... what size speaker is it?


and any recomendations for replacing it Under $75.

The whole panel will have to come off... you have to carefully pop off the door pull/window switch panel first. Disconnect the window switches/mirror control, and I think there is two screws. Pop out one of those plastic christmas tree looking things from the front edge of the panel. Either the plastic panel beside your mirror or the speaker if you have the Mach stereo has to come off. Then the panel will lift up first and then straight out away from the door. The speakers have four screws and one connector. They are 6"x8"s. I put Pioneers in and I think they were about $65 for a pair. Nothing too special, but they are tons better than the factory ones.
