Default 1994 Mustang GT Vert - Space question

Anybody got an idea of how much space there is in the well that holds the top when it's down? (behind the back seat) Is there extra space in there at the bottom?
Reason: I'm looking to put in a sub and don't want to kill off any more trunk space. It's limited as it is. Aslo, the amps are going to sit on the back wall of the trunk.
I'd like to stick it behind the back seat but when the top's down I don't want to damage anything. Just wondering if anybody has played in there before. I've wanted to go and look all winter but she's parked and covered outside and for the last few months, covered in snow as well...

A lot of the sound is usually muffled when the top is put down. I'm not sure of how much room is back there in terms of cubic feet but you can put subs back there.

Thanx for the reply. I'm planning to do this in the next few weeks so I'm looking at some boxes now. It's really just for the bass as I'm changing out the whole system anyway and going with 4-ways all the way around. Just can't hear anything on the highway except the wind and the exhaust.
