Alright, I got most of the bugs out of my car so far.. But, my dome light is on constantly now, and I can't shut it off. Also, when I turn my headlights on, they work, but the door dinger tone goes constantly.

Any idea what might be wrong? I took the bulb out of the dome (burnt my fingers in the process), but the dinger still goes when I put the headlights on.

I'm willing to disable the dinger, I don't care, as long as I can get the dome light off and on with the switch.

the switch in/on the door to disable the dinging and cab light is bad, thats the first thing to check.

Yeah, my brother put a block in there when he was working on things under the dash, and i tried to close the door (not knowing it was there).. ill take a look at it in the morning

Sounds to me like yo got a short somewhere.
