The factory Mach stereo(HU\deck) powers the four tweeters but the four woofers are powered seperately by the factory amps. The jacka$$ at Circuit City didn't know what he was doing. An additional $80 should have included the amp integration kit & bass blockers, and it should all work right. You should not have to pay $80 for labor if the stereo does not work right. When you replace a Mach head unit with a aftermarket stereo you must wire the tweeters directly to the new stereo with some bass blockers and use a
amp integration harness to send the signal form your aftermarket stereo to the factory mach amps. AS far as sound quality goes there are some thing I do not tlike about this method. I explain here,
