Default Console/Radio Bezel removal question

Does anyone have instructions on removing/replacing the console/readio bezel. I want to either paint or replace the existing bezel.
Thanks,
Tom

Remove the factory radio using two U shaped wires that fit inthe the holes on the sides of the factory radio.

Remove the snap in cup (rectangular thingy under the radio)

Unscrew 2 screws underneath the climate control knobs

Remove the shifter bezel, for manual just unscrew your shifter knob and unsnap the bezel. for autos, use a flathead screwdriver and carefully lift up under the bezel and unsnap the clips

If you look into the holes where you removed the radio and rectangular thingy, you'll see a screw in the back. Unscrew that.
Unclip the bezel and you should be golden.

btw, those "wires" he's talking about are actually referred to as DIN tools. you need them to take out the factory radio in most fords. you can get them at bestbuy.

Walmart sells DIN tools also but you can just use coat hanger or allen wrenches. Some factory stereos are just held in by two screws. Remove the shifter bezel by lifting it up on the inside rim, mine is a stick it just pops right up. That will expose the screws that hold the stereo (if its not the type with DIN holes). The bezel is held in by six clips, start at the bottom corners and pull the bezel directly off, it's real easy takes two minutes.
