Question 2001 Mustang GT Mach 460 System, CD Help

Hello, we have just rebuilt the 4.6 motor in my mustang and it's been in the garage for about 8 months now with the battery unhooked.
My question is, When we got her running and back on the street, the (Mach 460 stereo system- 6 CD changer) CD player kept saying CD slots full and CD error, Well there was no CDs in the player ( because "I" took them ALL out when we put her in the garage) and it wouldn't let me load any. Does anyone know anything about this??? I read the owner's guide and it wasn't saying anything about these errors. Please help & Thanks!!!

check the fuses in the fuse box on the drivers side under the dash. if 1 of the fuses arnt blown remove your radio and make sure all the adapters are connected somthing sounds like its just not reading right maybe somthing vibrated loose. I just got done cheacking inventory and came across my old radio theres atleast 4 or more adapters on the back of the cd/radio. hope you figure it out and welcome to the forums

I've got the exact same problem. I brought my car with me to Germany, so I can't exactly take it to the Ford dealership to have it checked, even though it's still under the 3-year bumper to bumper warranty.
