Default 1994 Mustang GT convertible mach 460 questions

Greeting all. Have browsed forums for some time now and thought it was time to join. Have seen alot of good advise here and hope somebody can help me out on this one. I have a 94gt convert. that I am upgrading to the mach 460 with a mix of parts from ebay and boneyards. So here are my questions #1 is the harness that runs from the drivers kick panel back to rear amps different for coupes and verts. #2 if different how do I tell the difference #3 does anyone know where to get this part and #4 are there any sites that have picture that I could look at to see what I need. I have everything else already in place just need this final intermediate harness. sorry post is so long but wanted to cover evervything thanks in advance

Default mach 460

Its the same harness. Other than that can't tell you too much, I have already ripped my Mach 460 sond systems out. Once they are in you can not alter them different speakers or anything like that unless you have some type of converter deal. Not sure what it is or where to get it from but to answer your original question. Between 'vert and coupe that harness is the same

you can go to www.installer.com and they have converters there so you can keep fact amps but front speakers are only 2 ohms not 4 which is normal. the best bet i have found through taking to installers ant tweeter and local audio stores is to replace everything

for example you cant put a new deck in whithout chaging speakers or by passing tweeters in 460 system which makes it sound like crap hope this helps everyone

I know this is off his post a little, but you can add an aftermarket head unit to the Mach 460 system. You'll just have to add an integration adapter Factory System Integration Adapter 1988-up Ford/Lincoln/Mercury/Mazda/Nissan at Crutchfield.com to use with stock wiring and speakers.
