 2001 MACH 460 6-disc broken
My stereo,MACH 460 six-disc, no longer wants to play, eject, or insert CDs, and whenever i try to select a CD it says CD error and changes to the radio. Apparently this is a somewhat common mechanical failure? Does anyone know if this is something that i can take apart and clean or repair, or does it look like i need a new head unit (warranty is expired by the way)? If a new head unit is needed, then i think i will go aftermarket instead of paying $600 for a new OEM HU (eBay is out of the question).
