Hi, I recently bought an '05 Mustang and it has a 6 CD changer but I want to run my ipod through the sterio, preferably through and AUX setting and not running through the radio. I don't really want to deface the dash if that's possible.. I'd like something kind of original looking. I went to the Ford dealership and they had no clue what I was talking about... hopefully someone can help me... I appreciate it.

I was going to go with a device like this P.I.E. FRD04-POD/S 2005-2008 Ford-to-iPod® Interface but after experiencing issues with my Shaker 500, I decided to just replace it with an Alpine CDA-9885 which worked out WAY better than the Skipper 500!

The main thing that ticked me off about the Shaker head unit is that it wouldn't play MP3 CDS for anything, and regular, store purchased audio CDs would switch to the next track before the song was finished playing.

You can always get one of these bad boys: P.I.E. FRD04-AUX 2004-2008 Ford CAN-Bus Auxiliary Input Converter

You are still going to have to do a little wiring, depending on if you want a "jack" per say, but it can be done. I find my Mustang to be the easiest car to work on that I have ever owned.
