Exclamation 2005 driver door speaker issue

Hi! I am a newbie here and I am needing some help. The speaker in the driver side door kind of makes a static noise (sorry, that's the only way I know to describe it). This goes away if I put my hand over the window controls.

I have read in a post before the fix for this problem but I seriously for the life of me cannot find it anymore.

Also, please know that I am absolutely inept at any kind of car issues. I think I need step-by-step instructions

Thanks in advance!

If I understand your post correctly, I had the same exact problem after upgrading the door speakers to 60 watts. Actually it wasn't my speaker making the noise but rather the window buttons unit was rattling. I just purchased some sticky weather stripping and secured the window buttons unit inside the plastic compartment it fits in.
Hope this helps.

Thank you both for the information...

The fix sounds easy enough except for one thing....how do I get the panel cover off the door? Does it just lift off?? I seriously am stupid about these things.

Thanks
