Best radar/scrambler for roughly $250

ok i found this radar detector/ scrambler for $239
Rocky Mountain Radar / Laser Scrambler & Detector
does anyone have this one ? or is it any good...?
im not buyign for me (honestly haha my friend for his Saturn lol)
but i do want to get on ...but yea..
i just wanna be sure that he dont get screwed over haha
theres a whole list of detectors and scramblers but this is right in his range and its both...so yea..
any thoughts? or any other better ones u guys know of

I'm not sure why your "friend" with the Saturn needs a radar detector, it's probably next to impossible for him to break any speed limits!!! Cobra radar detectors are the best and the Cobra XRS-R7 is their top of the line model for about $240. I've heard nothing but excellent things from people that own Cobra's, and I've used the XRS-9950 with excellent results.

Same here. I've used Cobras before and every time they really impressed me. I just can't get myself to fork over the $240...I'd rather use it to buy myself a new custom grille or something...

true...but its his money...oh and his saturn is prety modded out actually lol....im not even ure what al he has...but i thougth he was a dif friend the other day folowing me and i got up to 115 and he did a really good job keepin up haha....
