Welcome to the site, enjoy!!!! Did you get 1 or 2 harnesses? There is a big harness, then a smaller one that hooks up for the rear amps.

Default Mach 1000

I have a 2002 Gt with the Mach 1000

I had a Professional Car Audio Store here in Tulsa install an Alpine deck.

My subs would barely hit. You had to turn the bass settings on the deck way up and it sounded like ass....

Curios if anyone knows why?

The wiring harness adapter had 2 separate adapters...

Dood,

I just installed an Alpine idax300 and same problem. I am taking it back tomorrow to the place. There are supposedly amps that in the kick panels that go to the subs. Somehow they were not taken into account and bypassed or the cannot be used with Apline in which case we might need an addtnl amp to power them.

Hey there--noobie...

Same problem here with my 2006. Brand new Alpine and no sub power. I can hear the bass in the back more than the front now. Before those subs would buzz my legs and vibrate my rear-view mirrors. Not anymore.... Got any ideas what's wrong?
