its loud but its not like ear bleeding or anything. a speeding ticket is better than a noise violation. i hate NC. Atleast were i live, at other parts its cool.

listening to music couldn't be a felony. im almost positive. i have heard of people being pulled over for the music too loud. thats why i put a kill switch in line with my remote wire to my amps. haha. i put it right in the spot where you would have fog lamp switch/ convertible switch (i have neither, so i had factory coin holders)

The law could be different from state to state. But still, a felony is absurd...a large ticket is absurd.

Well i think that everyone else has pretty much covered it, but here is my two cents any way. Any screen with any video (other than navigation) past the B Pillars is illegal and a primary offense. Furthermore installers at least in AZ can also be fined.

What's illegal in one state isn't necessarliy so in another. Those are all State laws. An example is cell phone use while driving. In some states, its perfectly legal, in others, not so. As far as the loud music ticket. That's a public nuisance or disturbing the peace offense. I have no sympathy for the guy who got the ticket. He knew he was being a jerk. He could wear headphones and not inflict his rap or whatever on other people. JOIBO!

in my province it's illegal to have video infront of the B-pillar as stated which seems to be pretty main stream.. as for the listening to headphone i'd check your local laws, up here it's illegal to have headphones in your ears but can have subs as loud as you want as long as it isnt past xx:xx time depending on your city by-law

Brandon where i moved from recently had it from i think 10 pm till 7 am

if you dont know the state laws and such, im gonna make a safe bet that if it can cause an accident or be unsafe (distracting, preventing noise of sirens and such, window tint so dark you cant see out of) its most likely illegal in some way shape or form, its just like body neons, because people see them as you drive by, and they stare, and not pay attention hence an accident.

When you're driving, you have only one job - drive (which entails paying full attention to the road ahead and the idiots around you).
Besides that, smoke a bowl and watch "The Wizard of Oz" while "Dark Side of the Moon" plays in the background. But don't get pulled over.
