My sister has an 01 v6 convirtable and it has the mach system. The radio makes this really loud (and annoying) buzzing sound when she turns it on. Its an all stock system, and she took it to a local audio place and they said there was a ground in the trunk. They fixed it for $35, which didnt seem too bad to me. But then about two weeks later it came back, and when she got the car inspected, the mechanic said that there was a wire on her alternator that when he took it off, the noise went away. he said hes not an audio guy but told us that he did check the alternator and it is perfectly fine. Does anyone know what wire he is talking about or has anyone had this problem before? Thanks for all the help, its much appreciated.
