Question MACH 1000 6 disc changer trouble

So yeah I was driving down the road and went to switch discs and the disc tray door popped open but the disc didn't change. I've tried the whole push it in with a credit card and push down on it to eject but thats not working either. Whenever I press the cd button on it it instantly displays CD Error. Does it need to be serviced or can I somehow fix this on my own because the warranty is done on it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm actually wondering the process by which I would be able to fix it instead of getting rid of it.......that is a project for the future because money is kind of tight right now.

i dont think there is a fix for this. mine did it too. the stock mach 1000 head unit is VERY troublesome. i wish i still had mine b/c i love the stock look, but at the same time i dont miss fighting with it. when i would eject cd's sometimes they would pop about a centimeter out and get stuck and i would have to punch the side of the dash to get it out completely. do yourself a favor and get a 100 dollar head unit that plays mp3 files. trust me you wont miss the 6 disc changer when you can get 150 songs on 1 cd.
