Default Can't locate power wire to plug original am radio into

I've got a 1966 Mustang convertible and can't find where I should plug the radio into. When I bought the car it had a non-working aftermarket radio and when I removed it, it was not hooked up to any power. How do I locate where to plug the two wires coming out of the back of the original radio? Please help.
Thanks,
Johnnie

Hate to say it, but I bet some prior owner (more likely, multiple prior owners) have butchered up the wiring back there.

Best thing would be to run a new wire to the fuse box as well as one to ground, so you KNOW you have good, clean power, and you know which fuse is set up for the radio.
