Im thinking of changing my 460 mach head unit for a dvd/ navigition unit. The only problem is that best buy said they could not install my new unit unless i bought all new speakers is this true? is there anyway around this problem please help.

I installed a Blackmore double-din in my 02 Gt and did not change speakers.It works and sounds fine.

They told me the same thing as well. I have not replaced it yet i am wanting to install a pioneer Avic unit. But as Heavy Metal says it can be done. So I do not know. I would more than likely replace the speakers any way. Good luck.
