Not at all satisfied with the shaker 500 (I'm kinda picky about audio). And, I have all kinds of stereo gear that I either never installed, or barely used. So here's my plan.

Crutchfield Install Kit (metra?)

Alpine CDA-9883 head unit

Kenwood kgc-6042A Graphic EQ (w/ Parametric EQ and sub outs) mounted in the open "slot" beneath the HU

Infinity Kappa 682.7cf (front and rear) - powered by Sony XPLOD 4060GTX Amp (60x4)

MTX Thunderform 12" sub - powered by a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300S (300 x 1) Amp

Plus Stinger Wiring Kit and battery Connect, and a VooDoo LED display Distribution Block.

Down the road I'll add an amp and replace the 8" mid/bass speakers in the doors.

To top it all off, I'm planning on adding the FRPP Stingers in a month or so!

It should sound fantastic! While you have the door panels off and while you're in the trunk and under the back seat, be sure to lay down some RAAMmat BXT and Ensolite.

Rockford Fosgate Power 1000 25 to Life 5 channel amp (100X4 front/rear @ 2 ohms & 697 sub @ 2 ohms)

Stinger Pro 1/0 Power/Ground wiring

Monster Cable Signal & Speaker Wiring

Sadly, Crutchfield sent me the JL Audio Stealthbox for a vert instead of one for a coupe, so I am waiting on its replacement that should be here on Friday! The vert box fit OK and sounded awesome, but it didn't look right and had a max power handling of 500 watts RMS and my sub channel is capable of pushing 697 actual watts RMS @ 2 ohms.

Prior to going the Stealthbox route, I tried a 12" Solo-Baric L5 in the Kicker pre-fab ported box but it took up too much trunk space and required that I ditch the spare. I also tried two 10" JL Audio 10W3V2 subs, and I didn't care for those either.
