Default Car alarm for 07 GT Coupe

Hello,
I m looking for a car alarm for my 07 GT coupe.
First, I d like to know what kind of connection is availlable in the Mustang. Is there any CAN Bus ? Where? And is it compatible with all car alarm ( using CANBus of course ) ?
I want to install it by myself so the can bus can be a good way for it ( and easier ).
On US forum, I saw that Viper is the best one. In Europe, we can't buy it and I don't know if another brand 'canbus compatible' can be compatible ( the best brand here seems to be Cobra ).
Thanks for your replies.
Regis

No, the Mustangs don't come with the CAN Bus. This is something which is used by European manufacturers (including Ford vehicles made in Europe - AMPIRE CAN-Bus alarmsystems for Ford cars ).

I would agree that a vehicle with the CAN bus would be relatively easy for a do-it-yourself install.

Since the Mustang does not have this capability, I would suggest you seek professional help if you are not an expert installer. Alarm systems can be a real trial for the inexperienced.

Best of luck!
