 build a system for an 1988 Mustang GT
ok i want to upgrade my stereo in the Fox, PO put pioneer speakers in the rear and cheapo blitz speakers in the doors on a factory head unit.
now i have a newer Alpine CD mp3 player that i want to install and upgrade the door speakers.
but here's the thing i do not listen to rap but i like some thump with my rock and country i have a pretty good idea what subs i want to run 12" jl's either W3's or W7's. i had 2 w3v2's in a slot port box but the one blew out (dog stepped on it) and i sold them to a friend. so i would need to get a new box and pretty much everything.
so what are some good speakers for the doors and rears? i may consider some new kickers for subs and run em in series and throw some power at em but then i would have/want to upgrade my alternator.
whatcha think is a good route to go?
