Every time I lock my car I press the lock button on the keyless remote twice and it does the normal beep letting me know everything is closed and stuff, but about a second after it makes a quieter beep. My alarm came too sensitive and I had to put it in valet mode a while ago but I finally got the sensitivity fixed but it still does that second quiter beep. Does this mean I'm still in valet mode or does it just do that? I read through my manual on alarms and locking and I couldn't find anything having to do with the valet mode or that second beep, just the two beeps it does when a door is open.

Is it an after market alarm? If so, who makes it?

i would say that you are still in valet mode. the beep is the valet mode activating. most alarms use the same way you would put the alarm in valet mode to turn valet mode off. so i would try to take it out of valet mode. then listen for the third quiet beep.
