Unhappy 2004 Mustang seat belt and door chimes

Hi newbie here. I just bought anny 2004. I'm having trouble with the door chimes. Keys are out, lights are off but chimes keep going off with door open. And the other problem is with the seat belt chimes. I have the seat belt on and the chimes keep going off for about twenty minutes. I bought a Chilton book but that was a waste of $$. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The ding could be the dome light on or the fact that the door is open! Also, the passenger seat is weight controlled. So, it could be going off if something is sitting on the seat. Also you should be able to trick your seat belt by plugging it in (pause)and unplugging it w/ in 3 seconds

The dinging is when the door is open and everything is off or the key is out. I'm going to try the seat belt trick today. I do wear my seat belt all the time, I just don't like the off and on dinging for about 20 minutes after. Thanks for your help.
