I agree with the above.
Could you be more specific when you say "I keep blowing the speaker."? Do you mean you're ripping the cone, frying the coil, breaking the enclosure? Does the sub make a nasty "burning electronics" smell and then stop working?
The thing about the Shaker 500 door woofers is that they have their own factory amps that are (i'm assuming) power-matched to the stock subs. The problem with putting in aftermarket subs is that the chances are that they will have a higher power rating and you'll end up toasting them by under-powering them with the crappy stock amps.
