Default Installed a New Head Unit For Mach 1000....Bass sounds Terrible

I installed a pioneer unit in my '02 mustang about 3 days ago and I can't get the bass to sound right. It almost sounds like the two from BOTTOM speakers are blown when I crank up the bass.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the disconnected Factory Harness that has "Amp" written on the side.(There are 3 factory harnesses, the Main one, and Smaller-Sized Amp one, and a Bigger-Sized Amp one) The problem is, it has no way to connect to the new stereo. It has A white/red wire and two blue/red wires running to it.

Can someone help me out?

The radio you just installed probably does not have enough power to push the speakers, thats why its sounds blown. you probably just need to run a new amp for the door speakers and whatnot. its just not able to push those factory speakers. i did a new radio in my old truck and new door speakers and they sounded like poo until i put an amp on them. i dont know if you can integrate the factory amps into that radio.

Well, the guy at bestbuy told me that it wouldnt be a problem for the radio to handle the factory system. I'm suppose to go up there monday and let them check it out(which is why I should have just let them install it in the first place) but I wanted to see if it was something I could fix my self. Because I really doubt(and hope) that the two front-bottom speakers aren't blown, because they weren't when I had the factory unit installed.

here is an example..... i put am amp on my factory speakers in my focus, and it changed the sound dramatically. he probably told you that just to make the sell, not to bash the dude @ best buy, but that has been my experience. also when i put a new radio in my old truck and cranked it, i thought the speakers were blown as well, so i replaced them w/ the same stuff and it did the same ting until i put an amp on them. thats just my .02
