Default nice head unit for 2005 GT convertible

hey guys, i got a 2005 mustang GT convertible, and right now, the guy who owned it before tore out the stock shaker 500 or 1000 stereo, i dont know what it had, and replaced it with a sony xplod receiver, i was wondering if there is any other stereos out there that look clean, and almost make the stereo look stockish? i was thinkin of savin and just throwing in a touch screen, since ill probably own the car for quite some time. but i had 2 kenwoods which installed one myself, then the other i let crutchfield do because i was too lazy. they looked nice in each car, but the displays didnt quite match the feel. i was lookin for somethin that will match the interior colors and have some really nice features, and maybe some amp outputs also. in my old car i had an alpine amp with a kicker comp sub, which sounded AWESOME! but i was lookin and i dont think i can install the stuff with the stock wires... also when my subs hit the lights dim somewhat, so i was thinkin of throwing a capaciator in too. i own all the audio stuff already, except for the head unit. any ideas on a nice head unit, or info on how to install my sub/amp/cap combo with the stock wiring??? any info is appreciated. thanks!!!
