Default theft system on 2000 gt mustang

I have a 2000 gt mustang removed the instrument cluster and forgot to disconnect the battery cables upon reinstalling it. now the car is in theft mode and will not come out. Anyone help me with this situation? I have checked all fuses, taken off the battery cables let the car sit for a while and this problem still exists. I can turn the car over but it will not start.

mine did that a couple of times whenever i disconnet the battery. have someone help u do this, first disconnet the battery cable and have a friend to turn the ignition key. while holding the negative cable keep touching to the to the negative battery terminal as if u were trying to create a spark while ur friend turns the ignition a split second after u touch it. it takes a couple of tries my first time it took me 1/2 an hour. u hear the enigne try to crank eventually the timing will be right and the car will start. also check if u have a cut of switch.

Thank you for the assist ...

Now I have another dilema ... Is there any special procedure for replacing my battery? ... I do not want to have the system disable the car again, just want to replace the old tired battery ...
