Default Need some help with new speakers

Hello, Well I recently just installed a set of alpine type r 6x9 in the rear of my 2005 mustang.. hooked them up to a alpine pdx 4.100 and they work great. now im trying to install my alpine type x component speakers. The tweeters are working fine but my midrange speakers are not moving at all.. I can hear something coming from them but not movment or bass.. Any ideas? I have checked the wiring numerous times and all the settings on the amp/head unit/crossovers... as far as I know everything seems fine.. Any ideas what I could check or what could be wrong?

It sounds like a crossover problem. Maybe you got a pair of defective speakers/crossovers.
