Default a fuse or what could be the problem

While driving and listining to the radio, I suddenly lost my 2 lower door speakers and my base, the sound is now "tinny". did I lose a hidden fuse or is it my amps or maybe my radio.
the car had an aftermarket system put in then taken out by a previous owner.
it looks like a professional job, no wires cut just spliced etc.
did a pretty thorough check for shorts and broke wires to no avail.
any help would be appriciated.

Default more information sorry

it's a 1999 V6 with a Mach 460 sound system. it has the upper radio w/tape deck and a lower cd player.
2 amps in the back and I think one up front under the radio/cd player
