Bought this headunit the other day to replace my Shaker 500 and will be here in a couple of days. In the mean time trying to put together a list of items will need for the install. I know I will need to get the dash install kit and ipod cable. Do I need to get a wiring harness and/or a volt regulator for this type of headunit. By the way I have a 05 stang if it makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need a new harness. You can find all the items you need at crutchfield.com.
