door alarm problem

Default door alarm problem
i own a 97 ford mustang. there is something wrong with the doors alarm, so that even while all of the doors are closed the dinging noise goes of constanly and it is the most annoying thing in the world. Any ideas on how to stop it?

does the beeping start once you turn the car on? and is it coming from the center of the dash, like behind the radio?
