I have an alpine headunit and want to go back to the stock one for the mach 460 sytem. The pic below is an interface which was in the trunk when I got the car, the schoshe connectors are still installed in the system. I'm wondering why this isn't installed, what it is for, and why the aftermarket unit is working fine without this thing. Any ideas appreciated.

If anyone has a stock mach 460 single din headunit they want to get rid of let me know...if you need this and schosche connectors for your aftermarket setup I'll trade it all.

This is probably a interface that didnt match your car or that didnt work.(if installed by a shop) But it is use so you dont have to gess at what wires are what.
