Installing subs in 2006 Mustang?

I am looking at installing a set of subs in my 06 with the shaker 500 system... I was just wondering if I could hook all this up with the stock head unit?

yeah i did it but i would buy a head unit because it sounds a lot better and you can hook up your i pod.

Well I like the 6cd changer... Was it hard to find all the wires and stuff?
