You need an inline converter for your amp input. This will give a minimal amount of draw on your system they are fairly cheap. I have mine on one of my rear speakers and the rca jacks to the input of a JBL 600w 2 channel amp. I have one 10" ported teardrop ported sub on one output and one 10" enclosed sub on the other. Sounds Great. Also you will need to run one large gage power wire from your battery fused to your amp then a short ground large gage also to a grounding point in the trunk. Good luck. Any stereo garage will be happy to help and this won't affect your stock shaker 500 performance will enhance it tremendously.

You need to go to PAC Audio and follow the add an amp. I used the http://documents.victorytechnologies...100//12837.jpgPacific Accessory Corporation AOEM-FRD24
It lets you add a amp and keep your other factor speakers. You can use it if you don't have THX. I also added a LC-1 to control the bass lever. Also go to 2006 Mustang V6 Subwoofer Project: Shaker 1100 to get tips on installing the amp.

This will let you keep your factory speakers and add rca jacks for the amp. I also added the LC-1 to control the bass level. See cruchfield or ebay to find it.
