Default Mach 460 head unit replace with Kenwood DPX503

Hello all. I've got a 2003 Mustang GT with the stock audio system, which I think is the Mach 460 audio system.

For a few months now, my front door speakers have been making noise, like a really loud buzzing. this only happens when the car is started, both cd and radio. If I give the driver-side speaker a little kick the sound goes away, but only for a minute, then returns. That's how I've been dealing with it.

So i took it to an audio shop near me and the guy there says it's the factory amp. So ok, he says he can bypass the amp. And I really want a usb/aux input, so I think I'll get a Kenwood H/U, plus I have an amp and subwoofer at home from my old car I was thinking of having installed.

I've read a lot of threads about this, but wanted to get your feedback on the front speaker issue, and if anyone has experience with the Kenwood DPX503. Thanks.

I have used Kenwood decks in my car before and they all sounded good. The DPX503 will definitely have enough power to push your stock door speakers with out an amp, and it will make installing your sub and amp a little simpler while giving it a cleaner sound. good luck!
