1999 Mustang anti theft disable.
I am down to one key for my Mustang and if feasible would like to disable the system that prevents me from starting the car with a simple non-electronic key. Those enabling keys are too expensive.
Is there a simple solution?

glue the chip from your key to the transponder around the lock cyl on the col

Thanks dans-stang for the clever suggestion. I don’t think it could be simpler than that. However, I am disinclined to remove the only chip I have from the only key I have that will start the car. I would consider your suggestion only after acquiring a backup key.

Thats what I would do, as it is reversable. Anything else would be a hack job
