I am thinking about adding an aftermarket alarm to my 2006 Mustang GT because I am about to install some vintage car audio gear, and I want to see to it that stealing it proves to be difficult.
I am no stranger to installing alarms, and I just wanted to know if anyone else has done it because working with the smart junction box is a new one to me.
This is where I got the wiring information from:

This is the unit I am thinking of going with:

Besides the fact that I hide the brain and route fake wires to a non existing location to thwart thieves, is there anything else I need to look out for regarding the wiring? I will not remote start the car because I have no desires to add remote start to a vehicle with a manual transmission.
My alarm will have 2 mini piezo sirens inside the cabin, a battery backup, an infrasonic or ultrasonic sensor, a digital tilt sensor, and the usual door/hood/trunk stuff. I will ditch the shock sensor because they have caused me nothing but misery and grief over the years. Is there anything that I may have left out?
