Since I have a 2006 model, there is an aux audio button but no hookup. On these forums I have seen that to get the hookup installed it cost saround $90. The Mp3 player I use is a Samsung Instinct phone... Is the headphone jack on my phone the only thing I would need to use, or is there extra equipment involved? When they install the hookup does that include the cable that plugs in my headphone jack? Thanks for the help.

You would still have to buy the mini plug cable.

pcfrish, thanks for linking to that site. the device you linked to isn't compatible with 2005+ models, but i found one on the site that was.

it is a little bit more expensive, but looks like what i need. do i have to order this myself or can i go to a dealer / shop and tell them what i want?

They have been used with success by members of this forum. You will need to order it from a website.
