 Changing out the shaker 500 for the 1000
I have recently purchased a complete shaker 1000 head unit, subs and amplifier setup. I currently have the 500 in my 2006. Once i remove the 500, what additional wiring harness will i need to purchase, to operate the trunk amps/sub combo ?? Im hoping someone has done this swap before. Im thinking Ford must have a harness ( THIRD JACK ON REAR OF THE 1000 HEAD UNIT) that plugs into the 1000 rear jack, and runs back to the trunk, where it then plugs into the amp to power it up. From the looks of it, the subs have to male connectors that plug into the 2 female connectors of the amps, and im only missing the power supply from the radio to the rear subs. Am i correct here does anyone know !! Any help will be greatly appreciated !! |
