Does anyone know how to get the text back on the radio display ie: The song playing, artist, on FM? I found it once by accident while messing around with it and it was fine. Then one cold day the car was cranky on starting and did start up but the radio lost all presets and went to 12:00. Like the battery had been disconnected. I looked in the manual and could find nothing about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Nope nothing like that option. Just shaker on, bass, treb, autoset, speed vol and such. I just can't figure it out. Thanks though.

ok here is how mine is.. with the radio on press menu it should diplay autoset off, press menu again it should display RBDS off push the button to the right of the one that says text and then it should say RBDS on. and that will turn the text back on for the fm stations.

Ok, If I push and hold menu button down it says rds off and there is no button to the right of text. At least I found the rds. Maybe 05 and 08 are a bit different. I'll keep playing with it.

Make sure the radio is on a FM station, if it's playing a CD then it won't work. Press and hold the menu button. Use either the left and right seek buttons or up and down buttons next to the cd player to turn it on or off.
You are right. But you have to press and hold the menu button and then push seek and while you are pressing seek let go of the menu button and TA DA!!! It's back on. Thanks guys it was driving me crazy. Short drive though! LOL

That's awsome! Had the car for 3 years and never knew the option was there. What a noob! Prolly gona upgrade to an avic-f90bt but in the mean time I got a nifty new feature.
