You need to just purchase it from mobile 1. Unless you just absolutely want to install it your self. The dash unit should be all self contained. You may or may not need an install kit depends on what stereo you get. Wiring harness, about 15 butt connectors, pocket screw driver, wire crimping tool that should be about all you need. Oh and also you need the know how so as that you dont mess your dash panels up or anything.

pinoeer makes a nice touch screen head unit that has navi, dvd, sat radio, bluetooth, and ect. the install is pretty easy and use a wiring harness its so much easier, there are two screws in the center consoul at the hing. after that everything just pops out. when you get to the dash you need to be careful and you have to unplug the stuff on the dash piece that comes out and there are 4 screws that hold the headunit in.

do you have a shaker 500 or 1000? its been awhile since i installed my alpine but i think theres two different wiring harnesses for the 500 and 1000. i had the 1000 so i there was an extra harness from the deck for the factory subs. Best buy has them and the double din mounting brackets also for pretty cheap. install is very simple. just remove the center console with about 8 screws and there ya go
