Does anyone know if it is possible to add Sirius to an existing Shaker 500? I have a 2006 mustang, and it has the AUX button. I am waning to find the Sirius kit that will allow the shaker to control it. I do not want anything mounted externally and using an FM Modulator. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hey, thank you for the link, but when I went there it was for the 2007. From what I can gather, it is different from my unit. Mine is a 2006 model. Has anyone tried this with a 2006 shaker? Where did you put the antenna? Would under the dash work?

Read it again, my car is also an '06 model with the Shaker 500.
I put the antenna on the front lip of the trunklid and mounted the sirius module in the factory location in trunk.
It's controlled through the AUX button on the radio.

Is there a port already wired in the trunk area or did you have to run wiring to the trunk? Did you use this part: Products ?

Would this part:
CD Changers, In-Dash CD Changers, Car Navigation Systems, Rear Seat Entertainment Systems and More Automotive Electronics from Radios and More
work as well?
