I am getting a 1998 Mustang and am wondering what products you people would suggest. I do not know anything about the numbers so when i do my own research i do not know what works with what so all help is appreciated.

I'm looking for opinions on everything so

Also my budget is not too tight since i can pay for them one at a time and such so middle of the road products would be great.

Dont go to Car Stereo shops if you can avoid it (besides install). buy online its SO MUCH CHEAPER. Now with that said, what are you looking to do. Do you want great quality with a little bass or great bass and decent sound quality or BOTH. 2,000 will get you a long way seeing how if you buy everything online (deck,speakers,subs and amp) and take it to a shop they will charge you around 250 max to put it all in. (i work at a local shop). Ok

Now since i don't understand the numbers that well, how many of those speakers can i get for that 1 amp and can the sub amp handle 2 10's or just the one.

you can put 2 sets of comps on that amp if you please

as for the sub amp it only as enough power to run 1 since the sub is d2 you can get a 1ohm load if you get two you would have to wire down to .5ohm or 2ohm load and it doesnt run.5ohm load and 2 ohm doesnt do enough.


if you want to run two 10" ixl i can find you a suitable amp but i think 1 10" will sufice. you can always run a 12" ported or a 15" sealed.
depends on how much of the trunk you want to loose.

no on the subs not worth the money imo, no one the sub amp not enough power.

the comps are good. im iffy on the comp amp.
