If it's the same as the 95 GT, then there is one screw down through the arm rest holding the door pull and switches. Then pry lightly downward and outward with a small flat bladed screwdriver at the top edge. This will free the whole front portion of the panel. Next pull stright up on the back portion of the panel where the screw was. You will amost guarentee that the plastic tab will break off. It's suppose to pull up out of the slot but it's 15 year old plastic and both of mine broke off. THere should be two screws holding the switches in the panel.
Next there is a single panel clip on the front edge of the door panel near the speaker. You have to pry that out of the panel. It will probably break also. Easy part to pick up at any auto shop.
Next the pull the little triangle piece at the top forward corner of the window, straight inward. It will come off. Neither of mine have broken yet.
Now lift the panel striaght up about an inch or so. You may have to rock it a little fore and aft to get it moving. You need to lift it high enough to get over the door lock. |
