Post 2006 mustang cd player to 2008 6CD changer

I have a 2006 Mustang V6 I Replaced the Stock cd player with a 6cd changer from a 2008 ford F150. There are some issues that you need to be aware if you are thinking of doing a swap.

First is that the illumination won't work.
in order to get the illumination to work you need to connect to pin number 3 on the 24 pin connector. (you need to run a wire from the cluster and panel illumination wire LB/RD)

The Vehicle Speed signal is on pin 14 on the 24 pin connector.

CAN Bus Is the same on both
CAN wires are on the 16 pin connector
Pin 15 (LB-PK) CAN Bus +
Pin 16 (TN) CAN Bus -

Now for the goodies
Auxiliary Audio input jack
16 pin connector
pin 6 Auxiliary Audio right signal +
pin 14 Auxiliary Audio right signal -
pin 7 Auxiliary Audio Left signal +
pin 8 Auxiliary Audio right signal -

There are more things that I left out
like the pins for the dvd input
Auxiliary audio controls
and speed controls
steering wheel signal and such.

It doesnt matter if the Radio is from a mustang or an f150 all the radios have the same connectors the only difference in that they have more functions that means more wires. If you want to install a shaker 500 or 1000 you need to add some of the wires that i have describe above.
