Default Subwoofers cutting out, any advice

The equipment...
Alpine cda-9855, 4v preouts
rockford bd1500.1 amp
2 orion hcca 10's wired to 1 ohm

When I play a bass cd, I can turn it up to any volume and have absolutely no problems,, but when I play any other type of cd burned or not, the subs cut out even with the sub control turned all the way down. I know the amp can handle the 1 ohm load b.c. I've had it on many other subwoofer setups. I dont understand why it will play fine with a bass cd and not just regular music. My battery voltage never drops below 13.5 volts, the car has a brand new alternator and 2 brand new batteries, with all the grounds redone so I dont see it being a voltage issue. Any suggestions?

The amp is at a little over half gain, no where near the peak of the subs, but even if it was to high, why would the bass cd's play fine?? That is where I'm puzzled

I have 0 gauge running from the alternator to the battery, and the battery to the battery in the backwith a 200a anl fuse, and 4 gauge from there to the amp with a 150 amp anl fuse.
