i had the viper 790xv in my 01 v6,im thinking of getting another viper in my 04 gt,, i seen a 5901 on for sale,what is the difference between a 5901 and 790xv?thanks in advance

the 5901 is the much newer version of the 790. i installed it on my stang and i love it. it has a rechargeable remote instead of the dumb aaa batteriey. a 1 mile range. temperature auto start. there's a lot of features on it compared to the 790. take a look on viper's website for all of the features. but i def. recommend it! i love mine!
