Question Mach 460 Problem- 1996 Mustang GT

Hey guys. my radio and cd player will come on and show everything working fine, but even with the volume all the way up, no sound, not even a crackle, comes out of the speakers.... just died one day. this is with the radio and cd player. what can i do to fix this? i hope to hell this isn't the head unit...

anyone? actually i can hear some faaaaaaiiiiint bass beats with the volume just right when i play a bassy cd, but the car has to be off to hear it.

It looks like you blown your speakers. just to be sure remove the door panels and check them out.

also if you have another speakers just unplug the wire and put it on the new one if you hear a sound then the problem is with your speakers.

doubt that. the mach 460 gives it's power to the amps which routes that to the speakers. so mabey the head unit is gone if no sound is anywhere, as i don't think it can blow ALL 3 amps at the same time.
