Remote wires should come from a 12v source that's only hot when the radio is on. If you have an aftermarket radio, it should have a remote wire. If not, just find your radio fuse, and tie into it. Or find your power wire(red) in your radio harness, and tie into it. But you'll have to strip or cut the wire. Some, like me, are reluctant to cut harnesses.

yeah using the stock radio and i just didnt want to go behind the radio its a pain im going to buy an add a fuse thing tomorrow and do it that way, can you tell me a fuse number that would work?
I'm not sure what one it is, my aftermarket unit has a remote wire. If you have a volt meter you can check them 1. with the car off, 2. with the car on. And when you find one with #1 off, and #2 on, it should work. Only problem is your amp would be on whenever your car is. Wether the radio is or not.
