Default Shaker 1000 wiring diagram

Hey guys

I took out my shaker 1000 HU to look at the cables.. i wrote down the color codes, and compared them with the wiring code from a shaker 500 unit.

Can anyone help me check if i have named each wire with the correct function?

I attack two .jpg files here.. the numbers are corresponding between the two pics.

Thanks

Your connector pin-outs are not correct. Check out this PDF.

That is the one i used, i found one miss placed one. My #11, it is start, instead of vehicle speed.

Is it seriously any other miss placed pins? Because i compare them, and i cant find any difference.

Thanks

I see what you did now, you are ok as far as the wire colors/pins

So the colors and functions are corresponding?

I was thinking, maybe i had turned the J3 or the J4 around, got them upside down or something..

I found 1 problem, your wire #22 (green-purple) which is a battery wire is on J4 pin 5 which is a N/C. All of the top pins on J4 5,6,7,8 are all N/C. You don't need to put any wires on those.
All of your other connections check out.

And of course the one you found (speed wire).

It seems weird to me.. because it is wires on all of those pins on J4 in my car.. are they just dead ends, or does anyone know where they go?

They are put there for features in the future or for options,

So if you look at the diagram posted above here.. which cords go to the subs?

I have figured out the speakers, battery, grounding..
I am looking for the ignition wire, is this Pin #2 (run/access), or pin #15 start?
Also where is the dimmer control wire?

I have the kenwood DNX8120 wiring diagram in front of me, and there is so many wires on there that i cannot find on my Shaker 1000 wiring diagram..

I am about to go out in my car and trace each wire to see where they go.

Does anyone know which wire is the dimming wire from your car?

and what wires are on the J3? because they wont get hooked up with an aftermarket stereo if you use that harness
